I’ve loved this house for a long time.  It belonged to Mrs. Ruby Nelson my Sunday School teacher (no kidding) both were always considered grand.  It represents the past and future for me.  Its more than a studio space in that I feel an obligation to take care of it. To clean its baseboards, oil its doors and polish its floors. Not just in the readying to open but as a tribute to a day gone by when these stately homes lined the coast of Mississippi.  My wish is that all who enter feel warmth, hospitality and the love of the old South.
